Evan Gulbis returns to Carlton Cricket Club

Carlton Cricket Club are proud to announce all rounder Evan Gulbis has returned to the club for the 2017-18 season which kicks off next weekend.

The 31-year old will take over captaincy duties for the firsts as he makes his way back to Princes Park, adding to his previous tally of 127 first XI games with the blues.

Gulbis makes his return after playing for fellow Premier Cricket team Prahran where he made 389 runs with an average of 43, and took 24 wickets in 11 games. 

Evan also played out his 2012-13 season down in Tasmania, contributing to the Tigers' Sheffield Shin win.

His experience, talent and cool head will be a massive contribution to the blue baggers who are looking to get right back in to finals contention. 

Round 1 kicks off on Saturday, 7th October vs St. Kilda.
